Liz Solari and Leonardo Barnabá, co-authors of the Sentient Law, demanded the deputies’ commitment to initiate the treatment of the law to declare animals sentient beings and subject to law by removing them from the category of “OBJECTS” in the Civil and Commercial Code of Argentina.

In addition, we handed in more than 210,000 signatures on our petition, which were unanimously applauded.
