THE BUENOS AIRES DECLARATION ON THE LEGAL PERSONALITY OF NON-HUMAN ANIMALS WAS PROCLAIMED
Last October 28th, the Buenos Aires Declaration on the Legal Personality of Non-Human Animals was proclaimed at the National University of Lomas de Zamora.
This milestone in favor of declaring animals subject to law results from the joint effort between the NGO SINTIENTES and the School of Law of the National University of Lomas de Zamora.
This instrument is presented as a valuable academic document to defend their rights globally.
We want to thank the University authorities, the judges, the professors, the specialists, and the NGOs that were part of this historic moment.
We thank the neuroscientist and the Cambridge Declaration author, Dr. Philip Low for his presence and support.
